The Arrival of....

Samantha Reese Bailey

Jon and I were at the hospital bright and early on 11/20 - 6:30am! We got admitted and finally in a room around 7:30. The dr came in around 8:15 or so to break my water. He said it would probably be early afternoon before we would meet our newest member of our family. Boy was he wrong! My contractions got stronger and I ended up having her at 9:49 am. I pushed for 5 minutes! A totally different experience the second time around but worth it! Samantha Reese Bailey was born on November 11, 2009 at 9:49 am at Baptist Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs, 13.5 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Our precious one...

This was the picture taken at the hospital. She is a day old in the picture (which has been touched up a little!)

Family Pics

I decided we needed to have a few pictures of the three of us before the baby arrived. So the weekend before, mom came over and we took a few pics out on the deck. Allie wasn't in the mood so these weren't the pictures I was looking for....oh well!

Allie and Taylor

Allie's best friend Taylor moved the weekend of her birthday. We went to Knoxville in October to visit with all the grandparents and Taylor. We even got to go see the Poteets!

We met Taylor and Tyler at a gymnastics place and played for a hour. Then we headed to Chick-fil-a for lunch. Everyone had a great time and Allie is ready to go back to see them. We are going to try to head up there in a few weeks depending on the weather!

Hair Cut

Allie went with me to see Shana to get a little hair cut. This is the first time she has had her hair cut since she was a little one! She did really good looks like she needs to go again!

Halloween

We took in a lot of festivities this Halloween. We went to 2 different pumpkin farms, party at the club and school. As well as going to Boo at the Zoo (in freezing weather) and having the Reese family over to go trick or treating.

This is from Walden Farms in their pumpkins! Allie had a great day playing in the mazes!

The Bailey's at the Club for their halloween party.

Boo at the Zoo - was a little cold this year. We didn't stay long because we were all frozen!

Allie with some of her friends at TGS before their Fall festival.

In her witch pjs. This is what Allie wore to school for her costume!

Allie and her cousin Olivia - trick or treating

Hockey Game

We took Allie to the Predators home opener. We weren't in our regular seats so the game was a totally different experience! We had a great time and the Preds won!

Disney on Ice!

We took Allie today to see Disney on Ice. She was excited all week about going. We get there and she gets a little scared. The only thing she wanted was her picture taken with the Cinderella stand up. We did that and were thankful we didn't have to buy anything else b/c it was all over $10 no matter what you wanted! During the intermission, she wanted cotton candy with the crown so needless to say, she got! I think she gave most of the cotton candy to Jon, Nana and I! Which didn't bother me in the least bit! After the second half started, she wanted to leave. She was tired but we stayed and she had a great time.
We got downtown a little early and walked around. This is a water fountain outside the Schermerhorn. All I said was Allie lets take a picture and this is how she poses....my girl!

Then the evening arrived, time for football in TN. Well maybe not! Even though she had her outfit on, she didn't cheer loud enough for the boys in East TN!
