Day 26

For the most part we pass a train once a day. Today, it was passing by and there wasn't anyone behind me so I decided to grab my ipod and take a picture. The girls love trains as do I!

Day 25

When Allie and I picked up Sam from school yesterday I didn't see this on the ground. When we got Sam and were trying to get in the car, Allie is begging me to come around the car to see this beautiful thing! I have not a clue what it was but it was a beautiful green moth or butterfly of some sorts. It was moving and I just had to take a picture! Thanks Allie for pointing it out!

Day 24

Well 3 weeks have come and gone and I have only missed one day! YEAH ME!!!! I wish I had more time to do fun things but there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to get all things done!

The clouds were something else this morning. I was again, dropping off Allie and captured this picture in the parking lot at school.

Day 23

Today was a wonderful day (besides all the rain we had)! My niece was baptized in a gown that 3 of my cousins wore, my two girls and now both of my brothers girls. Ava was beautiful and did a wonderful job being up there in front of everybody! I can't say much for my girl who was trying to show off during the ceremony!

Afterwards we all went to mom and dad's for lunch. My cousin, his wife and two girls picked up Nanny and came to the house as well. We were able to get pictures of 6 out of 8 great grandkids for my Nanny. I took 10 pictures and this was one of the better ones where Allie wasn't taking a piece out of her sisters ear. Yes Allie was trying to bite her sister!

Samantha was all over the place and i was able to capture this beauty!
Poor turtle didn't even make it to the pool. However, the girls thought it would be fun to bounce on him anyways. Good thing he wasn't filled up all the way!

Samantha needed a nap like there was no tomorrow. I kept saying lets go night night and she would run over to Nanny. She finally snuggled right up next to her and went to sleep. My grandmother enjoyed every minute of it. I am so glad the girls get to see her and spend time with her as I know that every day counts!

Day 22

Rub a dub dub, one girl in the tub!

My second attempt at making homemade rolls - of course they came out great (again!) there weren't any left to take home!


This is what you get when you let your 5 year old put their own make up on! She has two different colors on her eyes! She thought it was AWESOME!

Day 21

I will have to look on my ipod to see if I took any other pictures. Samantha was being cute but I couldn't ever get a good one!

Day 20

The sun will come out! Today was the first day we actually saw the sun in more than 2 days it seems like!

Day 19

It is so hard to get a picture of the girls together. Samantha usually doesn't want anything to do with her sister. However, this morning, they were too cute!

Day 18

Oops! I didn't get a picture taken today....but this is the first and i am sure it won't be the last but I am at least taking pictures!

Day 17

Mom picked the girls up today so they could go swimming since the weather was not cooperative this past weekend. Heading home this evening, this doe sat there looking at us until Allie rolled her window down and started screaming or better yet making lion sounds at the poor thing! She ran away at last!

We made cookies this evening. Of course, Allie had to add her own touch to them..sprinkles!

Day 16 - Happy Fathers Day

Happy Father's Day! We had a wonderful day today as a family and also got to celebrate the day with my dad, mom, brother and his family. Before we headed to my brothers house, the girls took their dad to show him where traffic school is being held, best buy, barnes and noble and then to get lunch. Allie wanted to take him to McDonalds, really? Then it was to the chinese buffet which I can't say is much better! But we had fun then went over to Sweet CeCe's for free ice cream! Well for the dad's anyways!


We went out to my brothers house for dinner. This was a picture for mom!


I had to include my rock star child today! She is so funny and I try to remember that when she is in trouble!


Now I have caught up for the week. Hopefully I can try to remember to do these nightly b/c all the pictures start to run together! At least they are dated!

Day 15

I have never seen blue Orchids until a friend of mine the other day posted a picture of one. I walked into Kroger yesterday and guess what was right there....yuppers blue orchids! Wow they were beautiful. However I didn't purchase one b/c I know they would be dead in a few days around my house!

Day 14

I never know what Allie is going to look like when I pick her up from camp! When I pulled in on Friday, they were cooking hotdogs and I could tell they had made snow cones. So I knew I was in for a treat! So paint was also something they did throughout the day and we had a heart tatoo on our arm! She was so upset when I finally made her wash it off 2 days later! She did everything not to get it wet - I guess had we been able to swim, it would have been gone!

Day 13 b/c you already got Day 12 on the real day!

I was suppose to have a 4 hour meeting on Thursday and wasn't sure if it would really be over with by 5pm. Therefore, I got Jon to pick up the girls and meet me at work so we could grab dinner out. So we went to O'Charleys and Sam had a great time coloring anything she could get her hands on. As soon as we got home, baths were given and then it was time for bed. Not a lot of picture taking going on for sure!

Day 11

Eating dinner in this house is always entertaining! Tuesday night we had rice. Not such a kid friendly food but Sam loved every minute of it!

So lets go back to day 10

Kristen came over for dinner Monday night. The girls have so much fun when she is around. In this particular picture, Sam is washing Kristen's leg with a wet wipe! I know Kristen has soooo much fun with those girls and what they like to do to her! HAHA!!!!


Sam didn't want to wait to put her shorts back on so as usual, she ran around with no pants on!

Day12 - a few days behind

Today is day 12 and I haven't posted day's 10 and 11 yet but I have taken pictures. However with my "real" camera and that takes time to put those on the computer vs the pictures being on my ipod! So I will hopefully get to them soon but wanted to go ahead and get this one out of the way! My little Samantha - love this kid! She is so full of life with not one worry in the world with the exception of which shoes to wear next! She is playing with the shapes you stick in the ball and they go in...she is loving it right now and gets really upset when she can't get the shape to go in! This little face gets all tensed up and it is so funny!

Day 10

is just going to have to wait...I took pictures but I am too tired to go get the camera, download and put them on here! Good night and will try to post them tomorrow!

Day 9

So far I have been able to keep up with the challenge and take a picture of something either with my camera, phone or ipod. Most of my pictures are of the girls but wouldn't have it any other way! They are so precious to me and I love taking pictures of them!

Jon thought it would be a great idea to give Sam an Oreo cookie...we finally had to put her in the chair as you will see!

Day 8

I took this picture with Jon's phone as there was not another camera around! The girls love to get in the floor and jump on their daddy!


Allie and Kristen were eating Cheese Puffs during their "break" from swimming. Allie's fingers were completely orange! Of course, she was licking them instead of going in and washing them off!

Day 7

Friday evening at Nana and Papa's house. What a crazy day it was....so one of my favorite dinners was had along with one awesome bottle of Miner!


Cousins....these girls love each other and I am so glad that they get to grow up together! A wonderful evening out by the pool - well a little hot for me since I wasn't in it!

Day 6

I hate the dollar isle at Target! The girls and I stopped in real quick to get something and these were right there....it took me back to the day when we ate these...not quite as good as I remembered but still ate them and Samantha loved them!

Day 5

Will someone come clean my house and let it stay cleaned for more than 2 minutes? Didn't have time to take any pictures today! One crazy day!

Day 4

I can tell that the only time I have to take pictures is with my girls in the car or at home. I am not complaining but I am going to have to find something new to photograph either during lunch or go somewhere!

This was on the way home this afternoon from picking up Samantha from school. She is sooooo darn cute in the car with her noises!


So at dinner tonight and every night, Samantha likes to take her hands and put them through her hair which makes for a very interesting time and bath afterwards. I picked up my camera, didn't change any settings and noticed when I took the picture, the shutter speed was really really really slow! So this is what came out of it....

When I changed the settings, this is what she really looked like!

This is Allie complaining that she couldn't find her "treats". Give me a break child, you don't need them everyday!

Day 3

This morning it was a little "froggy" outside as Allie says. Even so, it was pretty. I got the real camera out for this one and played with three different settings. I think I liked this one the best.

I dressed Samantha in her Purdue shirt today for her daddy. Wasn't thinking he would have his on tonight so i had to get this picture - didn't matter if he wanted to or not!


Camp - you never know what your child will look like when you pick them up from camp!

Day 2

ipod pictures again but i don't care! i love taking pictures and seeing what i can do with them!
Allie wanted me to take a picture of her and I let her pick out her own finishing of the picture. Love that kid!
This little rat wouldn't give me back my lemonberry slush from sonic today! She enjoyed it so much she was wearing all over herself afterwards!

Summertime fun - day 1

Day 1 of my challenge - these pictures were taken with my ipod while we were swimming.

Allie thinking we can blow up the raft - only she has enough hot air to do that!

I try to get at least one picture a month of the girls together. That is so hard to do these days because Allie likes to squeeze the daylights out of Samantha!

My little girl, where have you gone? Sam looks so grown up in this picture. I just want to bottle her up and keep her at 18 months!
