Second Snow of 2010

Didn't think the second snow would happen so quickly after the first. The weather men were calling for 2-6 inches for this past Thursday but we really got some Friday night. Allie had so much fun playing in the snow and making a snow angel. Sam slept through it all!

I love this picture of the two of them!

My favorite people!

First Snow of the Yr

We woke up on Jan 2 to it snowing. However it didn't last long! Allie was able to put some warm clothes on and go out and play for a few minutes with her dad. Stephanie and Sam stayed inside where it was nice and warm!

Happy New Year!

We didn't ring in the new year in style but we still had a great evening and day! We hope each and everyone of you have a wonderful and blessed 2010!

Future UT cheerleaders

Well TN didn't pull out a win but the girls did cheer their Vols on! Maybe next year!

Ice - We froze Charlie Brown

Aunt Amy, Allie and Stephanie went out to Opry Mills the day after Christmas to see Ice - Charlie Brown. Was really neat but really really cold! We were in there no more than 10 minutes! The mall was a zoo but we got through it!

Christmas

It is so hard to figure out which pictures to post. So will post a few...or more than I should!

I noticed that the Christmas babies at Baptist were in stockings. Thought it would be a great idea to take a few pictures of Sam in a stocking. She was almost too big for the one I had!

Sam on Christmas morning with her goodies from Santa.

Nanny came to visit during the week of Christmas. All the girls had a great time with their great grandmother.

Allie and her goodies from Santa. We let her ride her bike for a few minutes outside. It has been a little cold. Hopefully spring will come soon so she can enjoy it!

I am One month old!

December 20, 2009 - Samantha turned 1 month old. Hard to believe that time goes by so fast! We went on the 21st for her check up and second hep b shot. She gained a little over 2 lbs and 3 inches. The doc was surprised but happy with her progress. She was holding her head up like a 2 month old. Lets hope she doesn't continue to grow up so fast.....I want her to be a baby for a little while longer!

Big Sis had to have her picture taken with her!

Random Christmas Pictures

These are a few pictures I took of the girls in different Christmas outfits!

TGS Holiday Program

Allie's classroom sand Grandma got run over by a reindeer for their holiday program. We started hearing the song in October so we were happy for Dec 14 to come and go. Allie was one of the grand kids.

Santa came to visit TGS as well this year. Allie drew him a picture and gave it to him that day.

Visit with Santa

We enjoyed the morning eating with Nana, Corinne, Olivia and Kristen. Then Santa came to town!

Papa Jack and Grammy come to visit

Papa Jack and Grammy came down after Thanksgiving. We had a great time playing with them. Grammy stayed all week to help out. She even helped put up Christmas decorations. Now only if she was here to take them down!

Thanksgiving

We enjoyed Thanksgiving day at our home with mom and dad. Mom brought food over so I didn't have to cook. The plus side of just having a baby. I actually went out on Black Friday to a few stores to get a pair of jeans that fit. Then on Matt and Corinne had all of us over for lunch. It was a beautiful day and great food!

Samantha's first Thanksgiving. We had an accident in the outfit on Thursday and had to wash it in order to take a picture! Go figure!

Happy New Year!

I am in the process of updating our blog from the past 2.5 months....so enjoy what I have posted so far!

Coming Home

We got to leave on Sunday afternoon to come home. Nana and Papa met us at the house with Allie. Samantha slept the entire way home!

Look at those feet! So cute!

Allie and her new purple chair! Samantha gave this to her big sister! Allie loves her chair and will always remember it was from her sis!

Allie and Sam right after we got home. Allie loves her lil' sis.

The proud big sister!

We had family and friends visit us while we were in the hospital and thankful for each and everyone of them that did come.

The most important visitor to Samantha was her big sister! Allie was great with her sister. She is enjoying being a big sister and helping out mom with everything!

The Arrival of....

Samantha Reese Bailey

Jon and I were at the hospital bright and early on 11/20 - 6:30am! We got admitted and finally in a room around 7:30. The dr came in around 8:15 or so to break my water. He said it would probably be early afternoon before we would meet our newest member of our family. Boy was he wrong! My contractions got stronger and I ended up having her at 9:49 am. I pushed for 5 minutes! A totally different experience the second time around but worth it! Samantha Reese Bailey was born on November 11, 2009 at 9:49 am at Baptist Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs, 13.5 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Our precious one...

This was the picture taken at the hospital. She is a day old in the picture (which has been touched up a little!)

Family Pics

I decided we needed to have a few pictures of the three of us before the baby arrived. So the weekend before, mom came over and we took a few pics out on the deck. Allie wasn't in the mood so these weren't the pictures I was looking for....oh well!

Allie and Taylor

Allie's best friend Taylor moved the weekend of her birthday. We went to Knoxville in October to visit with all the grandparents and Taylor. We even got to go see the Poteets!

We met Taylor and Tyler at a gymnastics place and played for a hour. Then we headed to Chick-fil-a for lunch. Everyone had a great time and Allie is ready to go back to see them. We are going to try to head up there in a few weeks depending on the weather!

Hair Cut

Allie went with me to see Shana to get a little hair cut. This is the first time she has had her hair cut since she was a little one! She did really good looks like she needs to go again!

Halloween

We took in a lot of festivities this Halloween. We went to 2 different pumpkin farms, party at the club and school. As well as going to Boo at the Zoo (in freezing weather) and having the Reese family over to go trick or treating.

This is from Walden Farms in their pumpkins! Allie had a great day playing in the mazes!

The Bailey's at the Club for their halloween party.

Boo at the Zoo - was a little cold this year. We didn't stay long because we were all frozen!
