Disney on Ice!

We took Allie today to see Disney on Ice. She was excited all week about going. We get there and she gets a little scared. The only thing she wanted was her picture taken with the Cinderella stand up. We did that and were thankful we didn't have to buy anything else b/c it was all over $10 no matter what you wanted! During the intermission, she wanted cotton candy with the crown so needless to say, she got! I think she gave most of the cotton candy to Jon, Nana and I! Which didn't bother me in the least bit! After the second half started, she wanted to leave. She was tired but we stayed and she had a great time.
We got downtown a little early and walked around. This is a water fountain outside the Schermerhorn. All I said was Allie lets take a picture and this is how she poses....my girl!

Then the evening arrived, time for football in TN. Well maybe not! Even though she had her outfit on, she didn't cheer loud enough for the boys in East TN!

Pictures from the weekend

I have a few moments and thought I would share a few pictures from this weekend. We went to Nashville Shores for my company picnic and then to the zoo for hockey day. Oh what fun it was!

Playing putt putt for the first time. That was fun - holding the club the wrong way, standing on the wrong side of the ball and my favorite, picking up the ball and putting it closer to the hole! That's my girl!

Jumping at the zoo - she could have stayed in there all day!

Allie and I with Alexander Sulzer (r) and Wade Belak (l).
Dad and Allie with Gnash. She loves hockey and already talking about going to the games. Just a few weeks ahead and the preseason begins!

Williamson County Fair

We finally made it out to the Williamson County fair this year. I don't think we have been in a few years. Thanks to my brother who had extra tickets, we were able to get in free for government day! Allie's first ride of the evening was the $5 pony ride! I can't believe she got on but she loved it and if we would have let her, she probably would have gone again!

After riding the pony, she thought she would give the real ride a try. Well she loved that as well. So the $25 all you can ride stamp was bought and she rode rides for the next 2 hours! I think i have found someone to ride roller coasters with!

Oh and can't forget the games! She has been sleeping with those 2 animals she won since that evening. I guess that was a good $5 investment!

Of course you can't go to the fair without eating corn dogs, funnel cake, fried twinkies (the best thing ever) and drinking lemonade. We had a blast with everyone and can't wait to go again!

New Deck

So I am a little behind, but what's new? Jon finally got his deck he has been wanting. This thing is huge! This is looking from the corner of the house to the outside corner...I am thinking it is about 21x22 feet!

Allie is enjoying the deck almost as much as her daddy is!

Allie loves to jump off the second to last step....an accident waiting to happen!

First day of Pre-K

Allie started Pre-K on Monday. She is loving her new class. However I am not that excited that most of the kids in the class are boys! Maybe that is where her attitude is coming from!

We took Allie for her 4 year check up yesterday. She is doing just fine. Weight is 35.6 lbs and is 41 inches tall.

That's all for now!

Allie's 4th Birthday

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY ALLIE!

Alexandra Nicole Bailey turned 4 on Friday August 7, 2009. I can hardly believe that she is 4! She had a full weekend and I have posted just a few of the pictures. She made chocolate chip cookies on Thursday for her class for snack on Friday. As she was passing them out, she spilled the cookies in the floor. Thank goodness we were able to save a few so everyone could have at least one cookie! We went to Nachos for dinner to celebrate Papa Jack's birthday as well as Allie's. Saturday, we had a party at Nana and Papa's house. The kids really did enjoy the water balloons, water beach ball and the pool! Sunday I took her to Toy's R Us to use her gift certificate...boy was I ready to get out of there!

I made the cake. Mom helped with making the icing and I decorated it. Was pretty good if I do say so myself!

Aunt Amy came from TX to visit and spend Allie's birthday with her. It has been a few years so it was nice to have her here!

All grown up now. She starts Pre-K tomorrow. I guess I better get the tissues ready as next year will be hard to say I have one in Kindergarten!

We all had a great weekend! Happy Birthday BIG girl!

Chuck E Cheese

We went to Chuck E Cheese for the first time tonight and Allie had a blast. Or maybe that was me playing wack-a-mole or whatever that game is called! Allie's best friend Taylor is moving to Knoxville this weekend so we wanted to get together one last time before they leave. The girls had such a great time. I have a feeling Allie will want to go again!

In less than 3 days my little girl turns 4! I can't believe it! Where has time gone? Seems like yesterday (well maybe a little longer but not 4 years) we brought her home.

This picture is from Pump It Up on Saturday. Taylor and Tyler had their birthday party here. Allie has so much fun at this place. As she should since every birthday party seems to be there! We are having Allie's this weekend but it will be in water where it will be cool!

Baby Bailey #2 is a Girl!

We started off the day by going to Vanderbilt Children's hospital for Allie to have a KUB. Thank goodness that there is no foreign object in her....just a bunch of poop! I told the doctor I already knew that!

We went to The Pancake Pantry for breakfast to kill some time before the ultrasound. We finally got to go in the room and look at our beautiful baby girl on the monitor. Jon, Allie and my mom were there, papa was in the waiting room. Allie was excited to see the baby on the monitor but even more excited to know her wish came true....a sister!

She is currently measuring 20.5 weeks, weighing 14 ounces and has a strong heartbeat of 148. The doctor said everything was fine and that we will keep continuing down the road!

We also made our way to USA Baby to look at bedroom furniture. We found what we were looking for and bought it. Now paint, fabric, oh and cleaning up a room!

What a day it has been! We are all tired and going to bed early - however it is 10pm and I am not in bed yet! Better go!

So far behind....

I am so far behind on blogging. We have been really busy these past few months and thought i better get some pictures up before she turns 4 (can i really have one that old already?)!

We went to the annual Reese's fish fry over Memorial day weekend. Allie wanted to ride on the 4 wheeler until she got up there! She decided fishing was more her style!

Allie and I were sitting on the couch one afternoon looking at the ads. Allie saw this sprinkler beach ball. I had to end up ordering it because we couldn't find it in the store. She has had so much fun with it. Covers her ears so they won't get water in them and ready to use it for her 4th birthday party!

Allie went to a birthday party not too long ago. She had so much fun playing with the basketball. Even a better time when daddy let her hang from the goal! Maybe she will be tall and make it to the big leagues!

We had family and friends over to watch the fireworks for the 4th! Allie bought $34 worth of fireworks and had a lot of fun watching them. Or better yet, finding anything to cover her ears up so the noise wouldn't hurt them! Between the rain, she decided she would put her rain coat on, couldn't find her rain boots so the snow boots made their way on her feet as well as the winter gloves and hat!

I guess that brings you up to date until Monday! We have our ultrasound to find out what we are having. Allie is so excited. We shall see! She says she is crying if she is having a brother! Until next time....

Allie and the Peppermint Twist

Allie's school had their Pre-K graduation Monday night. Her class sang the Peppermint Twist and did an awesome job! I have uploaded the video on YouTube - check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCO8LYWCVkk

I can't believe that Allie will be the one graduating next year!

Dr's Appt

May 13, 2009 - I had a check up today and got to hear the baby's heartbeat. Dr. A couldn't find it at first but did his little trick and found it! What an amazing thing to hear. My blood pressure was high again and has put me on medicine. However, I will be calling next week b/c I think it is dropping it too much! Maybe it is sitting in the dr's office forever that is causing my blood pressure to rise!

This picture is from when Allie went with me to the ultrasound.

Rachel's Graduation

My cousin Rachel graduated from The University of the South on Mother's day (5/10/09). We went to Monteagle for the weekend to spend time with family. There were 7 of us that jumped in my car and drove on down to Chattanooga and went to the aquarium. We had a blast! I will share a few of the pictures I took. I actually took over 200 pictures - I went camera happy! Enjoy!

April 15th & 16th

April 15, 2009, mom went with me to the doctor's. Everything is ok. They couldn't get me in for my ultrasound so I will have to go back on the 16th.

April 16, 2009, mom, Allie and I went back to the doctor's office for my ultrasound. Everything looks good. Due date is November 26th. I know this child will come on the 25th so both of my wonderful kids will be born on their grandparents birthday!

Allie is going to be a big sister!

So I am month or so behind on getting our blog updated. So hopefully I will get some items posted this weekend!

We told our family over Easter weekend that Allie is going to be a big sister. We are all excited and will try to update everyone as time goes on!

Easter Egg Hunts

Allie did two Easter egg hunts this weekend. One in the neighborhood and the other at the golf course. She had fun at both of them but was afraid of the Easter bunny! Oh well!

Allie went bowling!

Allie went to a bowling birthday party yesterday for one of the boys in her class. Totally different from the Wii. She was scared at first but as soon as she went a few times, she couldn't get enough of it! The interesting thing was the pins were on strings and the balls were so much smaller! It was fun watching all the kids bowl. Then she got to play some of the arcade games. Times sure have changed. There are now machines that count the tickets and you turn in a piece of paper that gives the total count that you got playing. Allie had 30 tickets with the help of her mommy!

Knoxville

We went to Knoxville this weekend and had a great time. Matt, Corinne and Olivia went early Friday and Nana and Papa joined Allie and myself a little later and drove up there. We stayed at great grandmom and dad's Friday. We played cards, ate biscuits and saw Elaine, Graham and Julia. Saturday we went to the Knoxville Zoo and had a great time. The weather was beautiful and the girls had a great time being outside. We ate at our favorite place - Sam and Andy's for dinner and hung out with Nanny. However, Allie feel asleep at 6:30pm and it didn't wake up til 8 am today minus the 30 minutes she was awake to change beds. She was a tired little girl. We made our way back this morning and have been doing laundry all day. However we did fit in a few games on the Wii!
